This former post house has been entirely redecorated in a warm and country style with its magnificent earthenware stove and its antique objects.
Here you can enjoy homemade regional specialties such as the famous Alsatian sauerkraut, Flammekueche (tartes flambées), or beautiful pieces of beef prepared with care by our chef Maître Restaurateur. Let yourself also be tempted by our seasonal suggestions that change every month. You can enjoy them in the building or on our beautiful shaded terrace.

La Tocante means “Clock” in Old French, and in the restaurant, you will find the old clock from the Robertsau primary school.
Napoleon I had his staff and their horses stay there when he travelled to Alsace.
